Have you ever said to yourself "numbers never lie?" or do you think like Rabbit in Winnie the Pooh when he says something like "if it is written it is true?" Then it's time to wake-up and smell the coffee!
Numbers, even with the most well intentioned motive, can tell a story that has little to do with the real core issue. I mean numbers can easily describe the symptom, the surface situation, and to get beyond the symptom to the core issue it really does depend on how the numbers where gathered or harvested and then you have to take into account the perspective, or bias, of the individual(s) doing the analysis...;-)
Numbers can be very seductive and at the same time totally mislead!
So, in a recent article regarding "Father's Day" by a female...;-) you will get all the numbers you could ever want.
Bottomline, from the author's perspective, if you are a women that only wants to marry once then go find a 26 year old Latino stud, who is college educated, and who has never lived (co-habitated) with a women.
If you are a man and you didn't make the cut better luck next time!
An interesting notice for me as I was reading is how the author stated that "63 percent of men have had at least six women sexually." The keyword "HAD!"
Something tells me that most women don't want to be "HAD" by the opposite sex, sure there are those primal moments and still I feel they would rather be "WITH" the opposite sex. A slip of the pen, or a mis-typed thought, who knows.
Is the article bias, if you are not a resident dad, then yes it is!
If you are a dad and you live with your family then you are a "HERO!" Hmmm, maybe that's not as biased as I originally thought...NOT!
When will we learn that labels, and the categorizing of people often causes more pain than good.
